Bone X 10.half-dozen - last FileZilla Client version supported?

#1 Post past onlyonequestion » 2014-09-07 12:37

Hi,

I searched everywhere merely I tin can't detect the reply to this question:

What is the last version of FZ Client that supports Mac OS X x.6 Codename "Snow Leopard"?

The latest stable version of FileZilla Client is iii.9.0.5 and says: "Requires Bone X x.7 or newer" :-(

Cheers a lot for your assistance to my question! :-)

Os X 10.6 is outdated and insecure. Please upgrade to a more modern operating system.

When upgrading to LION or MAVERICKS or any they volition call it tomorrow is NOT a possibility because of application restrictions where company applications, whether written in house or not, will not run on LION or above, what options practise you have for a FTP client?

You want to stay with FileZilla, just the selection of getting admission to an older client is non available, then the only option is to go elsewhere.

I practice not know the answer to the original question and the reply provided was non helpful. Does anyone have any aid that they tin can provide to gear up our troubles?

Thank you.

Take the link I posted two posts above and check for yourself, I don't have a Mac (and will never). Since the OP talked about three.9.0.5 not working, start at 3.9.0.4 backwards.

The above post is not useful.

Yeah, I could try dozens builds to find one that works, but my question was, does someone know which version was a good one for Snowfall Leopard? I practise not wait anyone to try these out for me, simply I imagine it is likely that someone who worked on this project would know that build such and such was a solid build.

Warm regards, Rick.

Afterward installing Filezilla v3.2.seven.i on MacOS X ten.6.8, Filezilla itself offered to upgrade to v3.8.ane just no further, which seems to piece of work fine for me.

I only wanted to written report that I've been using v3.two.vii.1 for months now and it has been working perfectly for my (admittedly modest) needs.

Thank you all who have been helping people on these forums.

Warm regards, Rick.

You lot must upgrade to the virtually recent version. There are known security vulnerabilities in this former version of yours.
